Prevent Duplicate Sales When Checkout Freezes

Check transaction and payment status before retrying a sale after a slow screen.

A frozen browser does not prove the first request failed. Repeating the entire sale can charge the customer twice or deduct stock twice.

## Pause before retrying

Search recent transactions by time, customer, amount, and receipt reference. Confirm whether the original sale was saved and which items were included.

## Verify payment separately

Check the cash drawer or payment provider for the charge. If money moved but the sale is incomplete, keep a written reference and resolve the exception with a manager.

## Train a single response

Give cashiers one clear recovery checklist and prevent two staff members from retrying the same basket. Review any duplicate found at day close.

ElectroX transaction history is the first place to inspect before creating a second sale for the same customer.
