A Simple Postmortem After a Store Promotion
Compare the extra demand with margin, stock use, and workload after a promotion ends.
By ElectroX Team
A busy counter can make a promotion feel successful even if discounts consumed most of the profit. Review the numbers before repeating it.
## Define the baseline
Compare the same products and similar days before the promotion. Include returns and any sales pulled forward from the next week.
## Count the whole cost
Add discount amount, ads, staff time, payment fees, and leftover promotional stock. Check whether accessories or service contributed to the result.
## Write one decision
Keep, change, or stop the offer and record why. Share the finding with staff before the next campaign.
ElectroX sales, payment, and product records can help separate a crowded store from a profitable promotion.
