Write a One Page SOP for a Repeated Store Workflow

Turn a repeated task into clear steps a new colleague can follow.

A procedure is most useful for work that fails when a particular person is absent. Start with receiving, refund approval, or repair intake rather than documenting every possible action.

## Observe the real task

Watch an experienced staff member and list decisions, records, and exceptions. Include who can approve a change and which reference to keep.

## Test with a new person

Ask someone unfamiliar with the process to follow the page. Note where they pause or ask for help, then simplify those instructions.

## Review after mistakes

When a real exception exposes a gap, update the SOP and tell the team. Keep the current version easy to find at the point of work.

ElectroX provides shared transaction and service records; the SOP explains how people should use them consistently.
