Set Team Permissions Around Real Workflows

Give people the access they need for their job, then review it when responsibilities change.

Team access is easier to manage when it reflects how the store actually works. A cashier needs to complete sales; a stock manager may need to adjust products; an owner needs financial review. Giving everyone the same access hides these differences.

List the tasks first

Write down who creates products, changes prices, processes returns, updates service work, and reviews accounting. Include the approval path for unusual actions. This gives you a permission plan grounded in work instead of job titles alone.

Check the handoffs

Make sure a person can complete their normal task without borrowing someone else's account. Shared logins make it harder to understand who changed a record. Test a few common workflows with each role before the team starts using the system daily.

Revisit access regularly

Update permissions when people move roles or leave. ElectroX includes team controls and role based access; use them alongside a simple review habit to keep sensitive actions with the right people.
