A Simple Cash Flow Plan for a Small Store
Profit on paper does not pay rent. A short monthly cash plan shows when money arrives and when it must leave.
By ElectroX Team
A store can be profitable and still run short of cash. Stock bought on credit, customers paying late, and seasonal dips all affect the money actually available each week.
List expected inflows
Estimate sales receipts for each week, including expected payments from customers on credit. Be conservative; late payments are common.
List expected outflows
Add rent, wages, supplier payments due, utilities, and loan payments. Note the exact dates of large payments.
Find the gaps early
Compare inflows and outflows week by week to see where cash is tight. Delay non essential purchases or chase dues before the gap arrives. ElectroX records paid, partial, and pending payments, so your plan can start from real balances.
