Five Questions to Ask in a Weekly Business Report
A short review can turn sales and stock reports into decisions for the next week.
By ElectroX Team
A report is useful when it changes what the team does. Give your weekly review a fixed time and a few questions that lead to an owner and an action.
Ask the same questions each week
Which products sold faster than expected? Which items have not moved? Where did returns or service rework increase? Did payment totals reconcile? Which customer promise is still open? Compare with a similar week when seasonality matters, and note any promotion that changed the pattern.
Investigate one level deeper
A drop in sales may come from missing stock, fewer visitors, or a different product mix. A high service count may include many small jobs. Look at the underlying transactions and items before deciding what the headline means.
Finish with decisions
Write down the one or two changes that matter most, who owns them, and when you will review them. ElectroX brings sales, inventory, service, accounting, and customer activity into reporting views, so the review can connect numbers to actual work.
