Accounts Receivable Aging for a Small Shop

Group customer dues by age so collection effort starts with the right balances.

Calculator with receipts and cash records

A total amount owed does not show which invoices are newly due and which have been ignored for months. Aging turns the balance into a work list.

## Choose clear buckets

Group unpaid amounts as current, 1 to 30 days late, 31 to 60, and over 60. Base age on the agreed due date, not the last reminder.

## Verify the balance

Check partial payments, returns, and credits before contacting the customer. A wrong reminder can damage trust quickly.

## Assign follow up

Give each overdue group an owner and next contact date. Record the customer's reply and escalate only under a written credit policy.

ElectroX customer and payment records can supply the transaction trail behind each outstanding balance.
