Reconcile Bank Transfers With Retail Sales
Link each received transfer to the sale or customer balance it paid.
By ElectroX Team
A bank notification proves money arrived but may not show which sale it belongs to. Unmatched transfers distort both cash and dues.
## Capture a reference
Ask the payer for the transaction reference and amount, then record the intended sale or invoice. Do not rely only on a similar customer name.
## Match the statement
Compare amount, date, and reference with the bank record. Investigate duplicates or fees before marking the sale fully paid.
## Clear exceptions
Maintain a short unmatched list with an owner and deadline. Revisit it at day close and month end.
ElectroX payment and customer records help connect a transfer to the underlying sale while the bank statement confirms settlement.
