Build a Service Catalog With Clear Price Ranges
A written list of services and price ranges helps staff quote consistently and helps customers understand what they pay for.
By ElectroX Team
If every repair price is decided on the spot, customers receive different quotes for the same job depending on who is at the desk. A service catalog makes your pricing consistent and easier to explain.
List the common jobs
Start with the repairs and services you perform every week: screen replacements, battery changes, software installation, data transfer, and cleaning. Give each a clear name the customer will recognize.
Add prices and durations
For each service, set a typical price and a reasonable minimum and maximum for different models. Include the usual time required. Review the list when parts costs change.
Keep it current
Retire services you no longer offer and add new ones as you learn. In ElectroX, each service has a name, description, base price, price range, and duration, so the front desk quotes from the same list every time.
