How to Read a Daily Sales Report

Separate sales volume, payments received, refunds, and outstanding balances.

A large daily sales total can hide weak cash collection or heavy discounting. A manager needs a few connected numbers rather than one headline.

## Start with net activity

Review completed sales, returns, and cancellations for the same date window. Check whether taxes and discounts are included or shown separately.

## Compare payment methods

Match cash to the drawer, QR or card to provider records, and credit to customer balances. Explain any gap while staff still remember the day.

## Add operational context

Look at top items, unusual discounts, and service revenue. Assign follow up for differences instead of letting them roll into tomorrow.

ElectroX reports combine transaction and payment records so a daily review can lead to specific action.
