A Repair Quality Control Checklist Before Pickup

Test the original fault and nearby functions before marking a device ready.

Finishing a repair is different from proving the device is ready for the customer. A short quality check catches simple issues before a second trip to the shop.

## Test the complaint

Repeat the customer's reported failure and verify the repair result. For screen work, check touch, brightness, buttons, cameras, sound, and charging as appropriate.

## Inspect the finish

Check fit, screws, adhesive, marks, and accessories. Compare the final condition with intake photos so new damage is not mistaken for old damage.

## Sign the handoff

Record who tested the device, what could not be tested, and any customer action still needed. Explain warranty scope at collection.

ElectroX job notes keep the test result with the service history, which helps if the customer returns with a question.
