Prevent Parts Loss at the Repair Bench

Treat each spare part removed from stock as a traceable job cost.

Tiny components move quickly between bins and benches. Without a handoff, an expensive part can disappear into an unfinished job or a failed installation.

## Issue by job

Record part SKU, quantity, technician, and service ticket before opening the package. Keep rejected or damaged parts in a separate labeled area.

## Return unused pieces

At the end of the shift, compare issued parts with installed, returned, and scrapped parts. Record the reason for a second part on the same repair.

## Review patterns

A repeated failure on one part or technician may point to quality or training. Discuss evidence before treating every difference as theft.

ElectroX inventory and service records can connect parts consumption to the work that used them.
