Accepting eSewa, Khalti, and Fonepay at the Counter
Digital wallet payments are quick for customers, but they need a clear confirmation step and the right payment method on each sale.
By ElectroX Team
Many customers now prefer to pay by wallet or QR code. It is fast and convenient, but a payment that is assumed rather than confirmed can leave the store short at the end of the day.
Confirm before handing over goods
Wait for the payment confirmation on the store's own device or account, not only the screen on the customer's phone. Check the amount and the name of the recipient account. Train staff to do this every time, even when the queue is long.
Record the method correctly
Select the actual payment method used, whether eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, card, bank transfer, or cash. When a customer splits payment, record each part. Accurate methods are what make the day close match the money in each account.
Reconcile daily
Compare the wallet and bank statements with the sales recorded for each method. ElectroX supports these payment methods on each transaction, so the daily summary shows how much you should expect in each account.
