A Better Service Handoff When the Customer Picks Up

The last five minutes of a repair shape how the customer remembers the whole job.

By ElectroX Team

A completed repair is more than a status change. The customer needs to understand what was found, what was done, what they should test, and what they paid for.

Verify before calling

Check the original complaint against the completed work. Confirm that promised tests were performed, accessories are present, and the amount due is correct. If the issue could not be reproduced or remains unresolved, say so clearly before pickup.

Explain the work in plain language

Tell the customer which parts were changed and whether any limitation remains. Invite them to test the device at the counter. Avoid a technical explanation so long that the important point gets lost.

Finish the record

Record payment, pickup date, and any follow up promise. Make sure the next staff member can answer a later question from the service and customer history. ElectroX helps keep those records close to the sale and payment context that supports the handoff.
