Counting Cables and Small Accessories Without Losing Time

Use bin labels and fixed pack sizes to make inexpensive accessories countable.

Cheap cables are easy to overlook because one unit has a low cost. Across a busy counter, many small mistakes can hide a meaningful stock gap.

## Define the unit

Decide whether each SKU is counted as one loose cable or a sealed pack. Label bins with the SKU and do not mix colors or connector types.

## Count by bin

Count one bin at a time, including display samples and open packs. Record damaged items separately so they are not treated as ready for sale.

## Check the drift

Compare counts with recent sales and purchase entries. If the same bin is wrong each week, inspect scanning and receiving habits before adjusting again.

In ElectroX, specific SKUs and stock movements make a small item count useful even when the items look similar.
