How to Manage Open Box Electronics Stock

Give open box products a clear condition, accessories list, and price separate from sealed stock.

A returned phone that looks new is still a different promise to the next buyer. Mixing it with sealed stock creates confusion at checkout and during warranty claims.

## Inspect before listing

Check power, screen, battery behavior, ports, and included accessories. Photograph the condition and record the IMEI or serial against the inspection.

## Label honestly

Create a distinct open box variant or SKU with a written condition grade. State what was opened, what is missing, and which warranty terms apply before taking payment.

## Review returns

Track whether open box units come back more often than sealed units. Recheck the inspection checklist when the same defect appears twice.

ElectroX product and serial records help connect the exact unit sold to the condition disclosed at the counter.
