Build Warranty Records Customers Can Trust
Connect the sold item, its warranty period, and the customer record so a later question has a clear answer.
By ElectroX Team
A warranty conversation becomes difficult when the team can find a receipt but cannot identify which unit was sold, or can find a serial number but not the purchase date. A consistent handoff prevents most of that confusion.
Define the terms before checkout
Keep warranty duration and coverage language visible to the cashier. Confirm whether the warranty belongs to the product, a manufacturer, or a separate service agreement. Avoid promising a remedy that the written terms do not support.
Record the sale clearly
Attach the customer to the transaction when appropriate and select the correct serialized device. Check the date and item description on the receipt. If a customer declines to share contact details, explain how they can retain proof of purchase.
Make later service easier
At the service desk, search the transaction and inspect the unit before starting work. ElectroX product records can store warranty settings, and IMEI records help identify individual devices. Your team still needs a clear written policy and a habit of checking it with the customer.
